Christmas Deviled Eggs

Christmas Deviled Eggs are a super easy appetizer that everyone will love. Creamy deviled egg filling inside hard-boiled eggs topped with crispy bacon.

PREP TIME: 20 minutes

COOK TIME: 17 minutes

TOTAL TIME: 37 minutes

YIELD: 24 deviled eggs

INGREDIENTS:

12 Eggs

3 slices Bacon

1/2 cup Mayonnaise

2 teaspoons Mustard

Salt, to taste

Pepper, to taste

Paprika, to taste

Green Food Coloring

1 cup Ice Cubes

4 cups Water

DIRECTIONS:

1. Place eggs in a large saucepan, add water to cover by an inch. Bring to a boil, cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes then drain the water. Transfer eggs to a bowl of ice water and let cool completely, about 10 minutes. Remove the shells from the eggs and run under cool water.

2. Halve the eggs lengthwise and remove yolks.

3. Cook the bacon until crispy then chop the bacon into small pieces and set aside. Add the grease to the egg yolks.

4. Mash the egg yolks together with the mayonnaise, and mustard, in a medium bowl. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Add 6-8 drops of green food coloring and mix well.

5. Place into a medium resealable freezer bag and cut off a 1/2 inch from one of the corners, place a star piping tip into the hole. Pipe the yolk mixture into the egg whites.

6. Top them off with the bacon crumbles.

7. Enjoy! Merry Christmas!
