Crockpot Chicken Thighs in Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce (just 4-ingredients)

Crockpot Chicken Thighs in Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce with just 4-ingredients makes for an easy dump and forget chicken dinner recipe.

PREP TIME: 5 minutes

COOK TIME: 2 hours

TOTAL TIME: 2 hours 5 minutes

SERVINGS: 4 servings

INGREDIENTS:

1 tablespoon Olive Oil

1 pound Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs

8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened at room temperature

1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese

1 cup Heavy Cream

1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

5 cloves Garlic, minced

2 cup Water or Low Sodium Chicken Broth (I prefer broth)

1 teaspoon Salt

1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Freshly chopped Parsley, for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Grease the inside of the Crockpot with Olive Oil. Throw in the softened cream cheese, grated parmesan cheese, heavy cream, garlic powder, garlic cloves, and water or broth in the pot. Stir to combine everything. Place the chicken thigh pieces in it.

2. Season the chicken thigh pieces with salt, pepper, and some more grated parmesan cheese. Cover with the lid and slow cook on HIGH for 2 hours or on LOW for 4 hours

3. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve.

RECIPE NOTES:

1. I serve this over bow tie pasta. It is very similar to alfredo sauce and this is how my family enjoys it.

2. You can make this same recipe in the ove. Just dump everything in a 9x12 inch casserole baking dish and bake covered in a 200 degree Celcius or 400 degree Fahrenheit preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
