Grilled or Pan Seared Pork Chop Marinade

Marinating meat before cooking it has two purposes. First, it gives it flavor, second it tenderizes the meat. Grilled or Pan Seared Pork Chop Marinade does an excellent job of doing both.

PREP TIME: 8 hours

COOK TIME: 15 minutes

TOTAL TIME: 8 hours 15 minutes

YIELD: 5-6 Pork Chops

INGREDIENTS:

5 to 6 Boneless Pork Tenderloin Chops

MARINADE INGREDIENTS:

3 teaspoons Onion Powder

1 1/2 teaspoons Oregano

1 cup Olive Oil

3/4 cup Lemon Juice

3/4 cup Soy Sauce

3 tablespoons Brown Sugar

Pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Place all marinade ingredients in a medium bowl, whisk to combine, Place the pork chops in a plastic ziplock bag big enough to hold the chops and marinade. Add the marinade to the plastic bag. Zip it almost closed, squeeze all the air out of the bag and completely close the bag.

2. Place the bag in a bowl in the refrigerator and marinate chops overnight, turning the bag often to make sure all the surfaces of the chops are covered in the marinade.

3. When it is time to cook - remove the chops from the bag, throw away any leftover marinade. Let the chops come to room temperature before grilling. Grill chops 10-15 minutes, depending on the heat of your grill. Or pan sear the pork chops over medium heat for 10-15 minutes turning over after half the cook time. Serve hot and enjoy!
