Kid's Lunchbox Idea: Ham Sandwich Bento Box

Packing lunchboxes everyday without hearing your kids whine about having the same thing all of the time can be a tedious task. This Ham sandwich bento box will spin off a classic lunch in a fun way to keep your kids happy at lunch time.

PREP TIME: 5 minutes

COOK TIME: 0 minutes

TOTAL TIME: 5 minutes

SERVINGS: 1 bento box

INGREDIENTS:

2 slices Bread

1 tablespoon Mayonnaise

1 ounce thinly sliced Deli Ham

1 ounce Cheddar Cheese, cut into chunks.

10 Grape Tomatoes

15 Baby Carrots

1 small pouch Pretzels (I used a 4 ounce pouch of Halloween Pretzels from Sam's Club)

1 pouch Capri Sun 100% Apple Juice

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. In 1 of the small sections of your 3 section bento box, add 15 baby carrots, rinsed well. In the other small section place 10 grape tomatoes that you have rinsed well and 1 ounce of cheddar cheese chunks (about 7 chunks).

2. To prepare the sandwich, spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on 1 slice of the bread. Add the 1 ounce of thinly sliced deli meat on the bread and top with the other slice of bread. Place in the large section of the bento box.

3. Place the pouch of pretzels and the pouch of Capri Sun 100% Apple juice on top of the sandwich and close the bento box.

4. Send your kids off to school with a lunch that they'll actually enjoy!
