Slow Cooker Baby Back Ribs Recipe

Knicely Made <3 Liz

This Slow Cooker Baby Back Ribs Recipe has got to be the easiest way to cook ribs. Just coat the pork ribs with dry rub, cook them low and slow in the Crockpot then slather with sauce and broil. Juicy, tender, fall of the bone ribs!

PREP TIME: 5 minutes

COOK TIME: 8 hours

TOTAL TIME: 8 hours 5 minutes

SERVINGS: 4 servings

INGREDIENTS:

3 pounds Pork Baby Back Ribs

2 teaspoon Brown Sugar

1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika

1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder

1/2 teaspoon Chili Powder

1/4 teaspoon Cumin

1 teaspoon Salt

1 cup BBQ Sauce

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Prep ribs by removing membrane and cutting into 3-4 sections.

2. Mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic pwder, onion powder, chili powder, cumin and salt.

3. Rub ribs with season mixture.

4. Pour water into bottom of the slow cooker. Place ribs inside the slow cooker.

5. Secure lid then set slow cooker to LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.

6. Transfer ribs to a greased rimmed baking sheet. Slather your favorite bbq sauce over the ribs, top and bottom.

7. Broil on HIGH on the middle rack for 5-10 minutes. Keep a close eye to remove before sauce burns.

NOTES:

1. 8 hours on low will make ribs that are literally falling off of the bone. If you prefer a bit more bite to your ribs plan on the shorter cook time.
