Christmas Wreath Cookies aka Holly Wreath Cookies

Classic Christmas Wreath Cookies made with corn flakes and cinnamon candies, also known as holly wreath cookies, are perfect for making with kids and leaving out for Santa!

PREP TIME: 5 minutes

COOK TIME: 30 minutes

TOTAL TIME: 35 minutes

YIELD: 14 wreath cookies

INGREDIENTS:

1 bag Mini Marshmallows

5 cups Corn Flakes

1 stick (1/2 cup) Salted Butter

Green Food Coloring

Red Hot Cinnamon Candies

Sprinkles and Nonpareils (optional)

Non-Stick Cooking Spray

DIRECTIONS:

1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

2. In a large pot melt butter and marshmallows over low heat, mixing frequently. Add in a green food coloring until you've reached a green color that you like for your wreaths and mix until all of the melted marshmallow is evenly colored.

3. Remove from heat and fold in corn flakes with a wooden spoon until all of the flakes are coated.

4. Allow mixture to cool slightly until it is able to be handled.

5. Spray hands with non-stick coking spray and gather mixture up rolling into small balls.

6. Place on cookie sheet and flatten slightly. Poke a small hole indent in the center and shape into a wreath.

7. Decorate with 3 red hot cinnamon candies and any additional sprinkles or sanding sugar.

8. Cool until hardened before serving.
