Mojo Chicken Wings

This is an easy chicken wing recipe. These originate in South Florida, which is my home away from home. In South Florida Cuban food is a staple. It is one of our favorite cuisines. The variety of flavor that Mojo Chicken has is absolutely delicious. The good thing about this Mojo Marinade is you can also use it on other meats as well. You can't go wrong with this recipe. Enjoy!

PREP TIME: 4 hours to 48 hours

COOK TIME: 25 minutes

TOTAL TIME: 48 hours 25 minutes

YIELD: 4 servings

INGREDIENTS:

1 pound Chicken Wings

1 tablespoon Garlic Salt

Salt, to taste

Black Pepper, to taste

1/2 Cup Cuban Marinade (Mojo Sauce)

MOJO SAUCE INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup Fresh Orange Juice

2 tablespoon Fresh Lime Juice

2 tablespoon Soy Sauce

2 tablespoon Olive Oil

1 tablespoon minced Garlic

1/2 teaspoon Hot Pepper Sauce

1/2 teaspoon Ground Cumin

1/4 teaspoon Kosher Salt

1/4 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. In a medium bowl, whisk all of the Mojo Marinade ingredients together in a small bowl.

2. Pour the Mojo Sauce over wings and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or up to 48 hours. The longer you marinate the more pronounced the flavors will be.

3. Drain excess sauce and add garlic salt, salt and pepper.

4. Preheat the oven to Broil on high heat.

5. Broil in the oven for 20-25 minutes.

6. Serve hot and enjoy!
