Oven Baked Bone-In Pork Chops Recipe

Updated: Oct 5, 2021

Oven Baked Bone-In Pork Chops Recipe - Juicy, tender pork chops, seasoned with flavorful four ingredient dry rub and quickly baked in the oven to perfection.

PREP TIME: 5 minutes

COOK TIME: 20 minutes

RESTING TIME: 3 minutes

TOTAL TIME: 25 minutes

SERVINGS: 3

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 pounds Bone-In Pork Chops

4 tablespoons Olive Oil or Vegetable Oil, divided

1 teaspoon Salt

1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper

1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder

1 teaspoon Paprika - can use 1/2 teaspoon paprika and 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

FOR THE GREEN BEANS:

3 cups Fresh Snap Peas

Salt and Pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Brush the pork chops with oil, reserving 1 tablespoon of it for the snap peas.

2. In a small bowl, combine salt, pepper, onion powder and paprika. Season the bone-in pork chops with the seasoning. Place on a baking sheet. Add the snap peas on the side, drizzle with oil, season with salt and pepper.

3. Bake pork chops and snap peas for 15-20 minutes, until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit. The snap peas should be soft and cooked through. You may need to take the snap peas out of the oven first, if they cook faster and continue cooking the pork.

4. Let the pork chops rest for 3 minutes, then serve.

RECIPE NOTES:

**You do not need to turn the chops while cooking, but if you prefer, turn them once halfway through.
