The Best Mushroom Swiss Burger


This mushroom Swiss Burger recipe is loaded with sauteed mushrooms and onions, Swiss cheese, and lean ground beef burger patties on brioche buns. You will savor every bite of this delicious mushroom burger!


PREP TIME: 5 minutes

COOK TIME: 30 minutes

TOTAL TIME: 35 minutes

YIELD: 4 servings


INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 pounds Ground Beef, 80/20 or 90/10 mix

2 tablespoons Steak Seasoning

4 slices Swiss Cheese

4 Brioche Buns or Buns of your choice

3 tablespoons Unsalted Butter

1 pound White Mushrooms, sliced

1 sweet Yellow Onion, sliced

1/2 teaspoon Salt

1/2 teaspoon Pepper

2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce


INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Heat grill or pan on the stove over medium-high heat. Formy with 2 tablespoons Se1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef into 4 even patties. Season each patty with 1/2 tablespoons steak seasoning.

2. Melt butter in a skillet over mediumhigh heat. Add sliced white mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes.

3. Reduce the heat to medium and add sliced onions, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 5-7minutes until softened and browned. Keep warm by adding to a plate under foil.

4. Then, add patties to the grill or pan. Cook for 8 minutes on one side, then flip and grill for about 6-8 minutes on the other side, or until cooked through. Top with a slices of Swiss cheese and allow it to melt while cooking.

5. Remove burgers from the grill or pan and place each patty on a brioche bun. Top with sauteed mushrooms and onions, then serve. Enjoy!
